ZLIP-S is designed for advanced mercury removal applications. It utilizes high-quality coal-based pellet activated carbon as the base material, treated with sulfur impregnation on the surface to form a thin layer of sulfur. This imparts excellent capability for removing elemental and organic mercury due to the immense internal surface area of the activated carbon.
This activated carbon is effective in treating natural gas, air, carbon dioxide, and various industrial exhaust gases containing elemental mercury. It plays a crucial role in raw gas treatment at liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plants, protecting pipelines and heat exchangers from corrosion.
